Dara Padwo-Audick established Enlightened Media LLC in 2009, as the production company for her feature documentary and educational film about Bhutan.

Our team is interested in projects that support strong optimistic messages as well as the arts. Our mission is to enlighten audiences through the use of visual media to new ways of viewing the world. Our goal is to inspire viewers to think more deeply and to take action to make positive changes at home and in their communities.

For nearly three decades, Dara’s genuine passion for telling impactful stories has taken her around the globe. An award-winning filmmaker, Dara has written, produced and directed hundreds of hours of programming. She is a member of the Producer’s Guild of America.

Gopi Shastri

Gopi Shastri is a documentary filmmaker and photographer whose life goal and joy is telling good stories. Her thirst to visually capture and shape these stories has taken her through the myriad terrains of nature and humankind.

Kira Kalush

Associate Producer

Eyes on the world, and her feet in LA, Kira Kalush believes in the power of film and video to inspire others and improve lives. KIra’s talents include editing, camera and graphics.

Michael Audick

Director of Photography

Winner of four Emmys, Michael Audick is a seasoned professional who brings a great eye and positive attitude to every project. With multiple show credits, Michael has extensive international production experience on all seven continents, including three trips to the Antarctic.
